Fiction

I write in a variety of genres and hopefully have something here for everyone.
My fiction focuses around a variety of reoccurring characters, including:

  • André and Leena – Sci-Fi cosmic exploration – following the antics of dynamic duo André and Leena as they push the boundaries of the known universe further than humanity has ever done before.
  • The Achaeans – Super Hero Sci-Fi – Earth is in chaos, greed rules the globe. In an attempt to bring order back to creation, the Olympian Gods have raised a new era of heroes. Will The Achaeans, Earth’s new protectors, be able to bring justice to this corrupted world.
  • Lance Bumbleworth – Documentary style Fantasy – Having travelled the world of Pandea, compiling data on every critter known to man (and a few more besides.) Renowned zoologist Lance Bumbleworth has decided to create the definitive compendium on life in Pandea. Bumbleworth’s Bestiary. Essential reading for any wildlife fanatic.
  • Alyria and Verys – Dystopian Fantasy – A young girl finds herself in possession of a dragon egg, and unexpected protector to the last hope for the entire world of Giras

Most of the pieces written for this site come from Micro Fiction written on Bluesky in response to the VSS365 daily writing prompt, where fifteen to sixteen micro pieces are written and then stitched together and expanded on into one longer short story.

Poetry

Poetry will include various themes, but most prominently, Nature, Environment, Fantasy, and News/Politics.

  • The News in Review – Each month; on the 4th, I will post a poetic round up of everything that has happened (Or as close to it as I can come in a six minute poem…) This is where you can find them.
  • Other Poetry – In addition to my News review at the start of the month, I will also post another poem each month on the 18th, (Probably my favourite of those I have written since the previous post. These will come in various forms, so keep your eyes open!)

Currently all of the pieces featured on the site are written by Luke Meyers.

If you like what you read here and would like a personalised story or poem for yourself, I write commission pieces via Ko-Fi.
